I just wanted to send a line to say how very impressed I was with the fishing activity my children attended today.

Was slightly concerned as my older daughter has severe learning difficulties but the chaps who ran it immediately put her and my son at ease, explaining everything very patiently and in a way that they all could understand.

I don’t often feel the urge to say when someone has done their job well but in this case I just wanted to say thank you and I will be recommending the activity to others in future. My children have definitely caught the fishing bug.

Just wanted to say what a great time I had on Wednesday.

Phil was really helpful in reminding me of some of the basics. I felt I learned a lot too and I was really interested in hearing about the potential pike days at Moors Valley in the winter.

So I hope you’ll keep me posted on that.

A huge thank you to you and to will from all the parents and the children.

Everyone enjoyed thoroughly and came back buzzing.

We will definitely need to do a repeat visit, some children asked for a much longer time when it is warmer into spring/summer.

Your continuous help and determination for everyone to catch a fish were very clear and appreciated by all.

I asked some boys who could not catch, how did you find the day and what did you learn?

They said, it was amazing and learnt patience, as it requires a lot of patience, and we wish to again but bit longer, maybe for an entire day.

As for the 4 adults, all in their early or late 40s, none has ever been into anything like this, so it was fascinating.
